We are seeking an experienced and proactive network engineer to ensure the highest levels of reliability, security, and optimal performance for our corporate and critical lab network infrastructure.

Your roles and responsibilities

You will be the backbone of our network systems, responsible for the full infrastructure lifecycle: design, implementation, administration ,and advanced troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Network administration: Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications, hardware, and configurations.
• Security implementation: Coordinate, plan, and implement robust network security measures, including the effective management of Firewalls, VPNs, and access controls to protect data and hardware.
• Reliability & recovery: Oversee and perform critical Disaster Recovery operations and ensure reliable data backup procedures are in place.
• Troubleshooting excellence: Expertly diagnose and rapidly resolve complex hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Device management: Implement, configure, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure devices, including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
• Performance optimization: Actively monitor network performance to determine necessary adjustments and ensure maximum throughput and stability.
• Design & documentation: Create accurate network diagrams, generate detailed documentation for network designs, and participate in architecting new network solutions.
• Collaboration: Consult with network users top roactively identify and solve existing system problems.

Required qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field with a strong focus on network engineering (preferred).
• Infrastructure mastery: deep and solid understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
• Device proficiency: Demonstrated ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot various network devices (WAPs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Controllers).
• Protocol knowledge: Strong knowledge of application transport and core network infrastructure protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP,SNMP).
• Network security: Practical experience in coordinating and implementing network security measures.
• LAN/WAN: Extensive experience with LAN and WAN environments.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to visualize and implement solutions quickly.
• Documentation: Ability to create precise network diagrams and comprehensive documentation for communication systems.

• Cloud networking: Experience integrating and managing connectivity with AWS, Azure, or GCP network services.
• Automation: Exposure to network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting for network management).
• Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or similar).
• Security software: Experience maintaining and configuring virus protection software and email applications.
